Set the GPS coordinates of a plot plan

About this task

Setting the GPS coordinates of a plot plan enables the AMS Wireless SNAP-ON application to calculate the coordinates of all devices on the diagram. You select two points in the plot plan and specify their GPS coordinates. When GPS coordinates for a diagram are set, the scale of the diagram is also set overriding any currently defined scale.

  1. With a diagram open, click Set GPS Coordinates on the Settings tab..
  2. Move your pointer to the plot plan and click on the selected location for GPS Point 1. Click on another location to set GPS Point 2.
  3. Set the coordinates of your GPS points in the dialog that appears.
  4. Click OK.

Note: If the diagram is exported to a .CSV file, the GPS coordinates for each device will be included in the file.
