Rename a paired Bluetooth device

 

Overview

After you pair a Bluetooth device, you can change the device name that appears on the Bluetooth Setup screen. If you unpair the device, the new name is removed from that device.

Procedure

  1. Press Home > F5 Comm Setup > F7 Bluetooth Setup.
  2. If more than one device is listed, use the up and down arrow keys to select a Bluetooth device at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Press F3 Rename Device and enter up to 16 characters to change the name of the device.
  4. Press Enter.
