To use the AMS Wireless SNAP-ON application, you first need to create a wireless diagram that accurately depicts your facility.
- Gather relevant electronic
versions of
plot plans, aerial photos, or
other materials that contain the areas where
wireless devices
will be deployed. The AMS Wireless SNAP-ON application refers to these
collectively as plot plans.
Save a version of each of these plot plans as .JPG or .BMP files in a drawing program of your choice.
- Create a new diagram and load your plot plan.
- Define the
scale for the plot plan in the
wireless diagram and then indicate the
obstruction height
for the surrounding infrastructure.
You can specify multiple wireless networks in a single diagram. The plot plan, scale, and obstruction height is shared by all the wireless networks in the diagram.
