Once your wireless network is planned, you can start deploying physical devices and gathering information they report to the gateway and AMS Device Manager.
- If you have created a wireless diagram in planning mode and live data is now available, you can transition the diagram. This associates live devices from AMS Device Manager with planned placeholder devices. This automatically happens if the tag of the live device matches the tag of a placeholder device. Unplaced live devices may be dragged onto an open placeholder device to associate them or directly on the wireless diagram.
- If your wireless network was previously deployed (no planned network currently exists), you may import the live devices from AMS Device Manager to create a network layout without having to first use placeholder devices. Drag the unplaced live devices directly onto the wireless diagram.
