Import a wireless network

 
  

Add a wireless network from AMS Device Manager or AMS Wireless Configurator to your diagram.

About this task

To verify you have the latest data to import, you must perform a Rebuild and Identify Hierarchy operation followed by a Scan New Devices operation on the wireless network in AMS Device Manager or AMS Wireless Configurator before importing it.

Procedure

  1. Open a diagram.
  2. Click Import on the Network tab.
  3. Select a gateway and click OK.

Results

A wireless network is created on the diagram and has the name of the gateway as its title. The gateway and devices connected to it are added to the Palettes pane.
